As the NFL season approaches, the entire sportsline site starts to buzz. Even the diehard baseball fans like myself get the FOOTBALL bug. Why does this happen to us? What is it about football that we so love the sport?

Every morning I get a Starbucks turn on the Macbook and browse the headlines from Google. Now I don't just read the sports I mean all the headlines. I like to see what is going on and how much BS the media outlets came come up with over night. So imagine my surprise when this morning , the day after Imus and his "misunderstood and takin' out of context" speech a reporter from no place other than TN has some things to point out about Adam "I really am trying to change my life" Jones. Upon further review there are over 400 articles on either Jones, the Cowboys "eating up" trouble makers (that is a headline) or past Cowboys (Irvin as an example) and who are they to try and help troubled players.
Well I am sick and tired of the media and their inability to report the NEW and let us interpret what we want to believe or not believe. Even our beloved Sportscenter cuts up an interview to try and make some "QUOTE" seem off the wall.
Yes I know , "but we listen and we buy the papers and pay the cable bill" but do we really come across as ignorant people who need to be told what our opinion is. I think not. So I am putting this blog up to allow US, the majority, voice our opinions or make fun of the media and the way they take us for fools.
Feel free to share.

I was just thinking back to great moments in life. I always seem to remember things by what was going on around me at the time. Many times in my life I have remembered things by what was on at the time. With this in mind I thought, why not find out what other television moments have touched people. With that said, I hope to find out with this blog. What is your all time favorite moment in sports television history?
